Making Decks Affordable

Richard (Aurora Custom Decks/Making Decks Affordable) just recently completed my composite deck. It is absolutely fabulous. My neighbors, and other landscaping companies have commented on the great workmanship, and aesthetic appearance of the deck. Richard was referred to me through a colleague at work who had a PVC deck done last summer. Having witnessed the deck personally I was impressed, it was beautiful.

This summer I'd had enough of our ancient wooden DIY deck and reached out to Richard. Lindsay responded within minutes and the appointment was set for the following week. During the initial consultation Richard was patient and helpful with walking us through the various deck materials including their costs and benefits. At no point did he try and upsell us, and worked within our budget to get the design and colors we wanted. After finalizing tht quote we agreed on the price and the document was sent and signed without error.

Demolition was completed efficiently, and the screw piles were put in with minimal damage to our lawn by a walk behind track which fit through our fence gate. The construction took roughly 5 days, Richard was absolutely courteous and did everything he could to avoid disrupting our home routines.

The end end result was a picturesque composite deck with matte aluminum rails and lower siding. We absolutely love it!

I have referred Richard to 2 more of my colleagues who are are also getting decks done through him. If you are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and delivers consistent results you should give Richard a call.

Wow! Can these guys build a deck! We have been swamped with compliments on the quality and workmanship of our new deck. Lyndon isn't a carpenter, he's a craftsman. I called him the "deck artist" but it's not an exaggeration. His attention to detail is unparalleled. If you want a deck built you be well advised to call Richard at "Making decks Affordable." They built it quicker than we thought and the deck is beautiful! The price was very fair, and they were also accommodating when we added things half way through.

We had another tradesman come give us a fence quote and in his words, "Wow, who built your deck? They did a beautiful job! I have to tell you if we built it, it would have cost ____(way more) and it would have been half as nice." Direct quote from a fence/deck builder.
