Canmore Trails and Tales

We did the 'Banff Sunset & Stars - 2hr Walking Tour' with Jacob. It was probably the most enjoyable experience I had during my Banff trip. Jacob recommended areas to take photos so we ended up with a lot of amazing photos, and he told us interesting stories. We saw so many stars. I highly recommend it.

Cowboys and Coalminers was an excellent walk, full of fun facts and surprises, even for someone who visits Canmore a lot. Jacob is very knowledgeable about the area and our province and country. The terrain is easy and the length of time is doable for most people, including children. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be back for some of the other walks/tours.

Our family went on the night hike earlier this week. Jacob was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and had us laughing the entire time. I would highly recommend!

My husband and I planned to go on a mountain hike in July 2022, but due to weather conditions had to change plans. Jacob kindly offered to change our tour to an intro to bear country and we had the best time with him. He was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. We did the Nature by Nightfall Tour with Jacob and had the best experience! He was extremely knowledgeable and made the hike fun as well. By far one of the best tour hikes we have done. The stargazing was amazing, I have never seen anything like it. Jacob also gave us some great recommendations around the area and we visited Wild Life Distillery which was equally fantastic!
