(July 1, 2021, 12:52 am)I love the idea of community gardens! Such a neat objective! Aspen Community Gardens is located on a large beautiful green space, with big mature trees and a walking path running along the garden. My favorite time of year to walk along the Aspen Community Garden path is in the Fall. When the trees are covered in yellow leaves and the harvest is being brought in...this is just a gorgeous place to stop and take a moment to enjoy nature :)
(August 19, 2017, 6:38 pm)Love the idea and opportunities here but the soil is heavy clay and they don't till very well (3-4") so plants have a hard time growing. Will be back next year but renting a rototiller.
(May 10, 2017, 6:54 am)Will not but a plot there again. They used dirt that was infested with weeds. I could barely keep up with pulling them even if I picked every day.
