Yama Vans

From initial design to the finished van, Yama has been beyond impressive. Everyone on their team is so knowledgeable and clearly they know what they are doing!

Could not recommend Yama enough! We just received our custom van to start our full time van life. The process working with Alex and Pat was immensely helpful with all their experience coming through throughout the process. The final product is so beautiful and we get so many compliments. Thank you for building our new home on wheels!

The Yama team exceeded our expectations during every phase of our build. At the start, they walked us through an impressive presentation of what to expect and prepared high-quality renderings that were identical to the final product. They held our hand every step of the way and were extremely accommodating when changes (on our end) arose. The build has been complete for a few months now, and they continue to check in on us to make sure we’re satisfied. Above all, however, Pat, Alex, Kevin, and Jamie, are all people of integrity. We will absolutely be working with them again.

My husband and I have always wanted to travel to the Yukon. We are avid tent campers, but thought for this bucket list trip we would treat ourselves and rent an RV. We decided to give Yama Nomad a chance, and it was easily the best decision we made! Christopher Wallace (the van) was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was easy to drive and park, and the captains chairs were super comfortable (which was important because we had some days of driving more than 12 hours!). It was also surprisingly fuel efficient for such a large vehicle. The entire van was extremely well planned and built, right down to the last detail, and was very easy to operate and maintain.

The actual living space was beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed, hot water, full bathroom, and pretty much anything you could need in the kitchen. The fridge/freezer was large enough for me to bring 2 weeks worth of perishables, which meant we really only had to purchase milk along the way! With a huge storage space in the back where we could easily fit all of our outdoor gear, nonperishable food, extra clothing, etc with ease, packing up was a breeze. It made what could have been a long slog of a trip into an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Pat and Alex were both great from start to finish. They were just as excited about our trip as we were, and you can tell they are very passionate about their work. Questions were answered promptly, they provided all sort of useful resources for us, and they genuinely strove to ensure we had the best experience possible. You can really tell these two and their company have a bright future!

Neither my husband nor I would hesitate to work with Yama Nomad again, and indeed we sincerely hope to get the chance to in the future, and we will highly recommend them to anyone looking for an extraordinary experience.

My husband and I took Yama Nomad's van (Christopher Wallace) out for a week through Jasper and Banff National Parks and were absolutely blown away by the quality and attention to detail they've put into it. It's truly a tiny home on wheels and by far the prettiest sprinter van conversion we've ever come across. Camping and RV travel will never be the same now that we know just how good van travel can be. If you're thinking about exploring Canada, this is hands down the best way to do it! Christopher Wallace is seriously a home on wheels. And a beautiful home at that!
