A wonderful day home! Kind, loving, passionate and patient are only a few words to describe Sarah and her helper, Ann. They are always happy and cheerful when we come to the door and communicate openly about what activities they did throughout the day. Our boys come home with crafts everyday and they get plenty of fresh air to burn off energy outside playing at the park down the street, going on nature walks or playing in the backyard :) Sarah incorporates preschool curriculum activities and learning through play into the day as well! My children always say how much fun they have at Sarah's and my husband and I are both extremely happy with the care that is provided. We highly recommend "Little one's learn" Day home :)!!!
Sarah welcomed our family with open arms. She has guided us through each of Zach's transitions with compassion, patience, humility and understanding. Sarah is always willing to share her experiences and knowledge as as a parent and care giver guiding us through some of the challenges as parents. She is keen to his needs, his ups and downs each and every day. While in her care, I feel confident that she will undoubtedly make the best decisions for his growth and development. Her home is clean and safe at all times with a dedicated lower floor to all the kids. Sarah has helped to mold Zach's development with daily activities and a balance between free-play and guided activities.
Our two daughters attended Sarah's day home for 3 years and we are both grateful and thankful that they did. The environment in this home is lovely and well organized, as well as spotless and most importantly safe - these qualities are all direct reflections on Sarah and her approach to caring for children. There is no question that Sarah goes above and beyond to offer fun activities for the kids, taking different age groups into consideration. Our girls are 5 years apart and needed very different levels of care, which Sarah was able to accommodate for us.To this day our kids miss being at Sarah's as they were always made to feel welcome and part of the family. We could go to work and feel assured our kids were safe and happy.
Sarah looked after both of our girls for years - from 12 months of age until they were in grades 1 and 4. Her home is immaculate, with tonnes of toys and activities. The entire lower level is devoted to the fun and safety of the kids. She treated our girls like her own, helping us through potty training and offering support and advice with all those day-to-day parenting challenges that come up. There's a park across the street that they played at daily, and several others in the neighborhood within walking distance. There's also lots of time devoted to crafts and creative play. Most importantly, Sarah's calm and gentle approach was amazing. We are still grateful for the nurturing start our kids received with Sarah.
My daughter attended Sarah's day home for about 2 years (until she started preschool). It was a great experience for her; the first time away from the care of myself or my husband. Sarah is calm, patient and loving. She has a great setup for her day home, does lots of activities with the kids (including outside, weather permitting) and provides wholesome foods. I have recommended her to others and believe that she is a great option for child care.
