Bowness Arts - Board Game Cafe, Vinyl Records & Books

Always been a great shop, but the new board game cafe addition is a great way to use the space leftover from the magic pantry (still a little sad to see them go). Definitely bringing friends here for board game nights!
Really handy that they allow you to bring your own games since most people don't have tables at home to fit all of Frosthaven

This spot is awesome. It reminds me of The 2nd Page Bookstore I used to visit when I was a kid. The staff are helpful and friendly and their vinyl selection is pretty sweet and growing. Nick and the staff do a fantastic job keeping the store organized and clean for customers. The hand crafted signs throughout really add a special touch. I'll for sure visit again.

What an eclectic and awesome store! Records, books, games, and more line the walls, and there is such a clear attention to detail with layout and product. I even loved the tote bags (which are silkscreened by the staff). We loved the record selection, and the staff are super knowledgeable. Looking forward to my next visit!

great place to look for good quality, second hand records :) they've also got a small cassette collection which was super cool to see. first time I've seen ELO vinyls in a store :)

amazing book store. Doesnt look like much from outside but once inside its really cool and cozy. Great selection and much cheaper than the other used bookstores in calgary.
