We had a wonderful experience fostering, which ultimately led us to adopting our sweet rabbit. Gizelle has a wealth of knowledge and provides support from start to finish. Her compassion for rabbits and the desire to find them loving homes is so apparent. I wholeheartedly recommend WRRR to anyone considering fostering or adopting a rabbit.
I have much enjoyed fostering for WRRR. Gizelle has provided many resources and patiently helped me learn best practices in rabbit care, all while giving me the freedom to provide enrichment in my own unique way. A rabbit that you adopt through WRRR has had the best care, and you can rest assured that you will be supported after adoption. For those reasons and more, they are a much better option than a pet store purchase.
WRRR is dedicated to the abandoned domestic rabbits of Calgary and Alberta, and Gizelle is wholly devoted to the wellbeing of these rabbits. Earlier this week, Gizelle brought Phoebe to my early childhood education and development practicum site in south Calgary. Since Phoebe is 100% litter trained and has a really laidback personality, all six children, aged one to five were able to touch and feed her cilantro, and enjoy learning about rabbits.
It has been such a joy to volunteer and foster for Wild Rose Rabbit Rescue. Gizelle is the sweetest and most caring person, and has done an amazing job sharing her knowledge of rabbit care. Truly an amazing organization and one I would highly recommend to anyone interested in fostering/adopting a rabbit.
A truly amazing cause. Right now Calgary and Alberta as a whole definitely needs to get their wild and feral rabbit population under control. Thank you for founding this non-profit. If you can please help Wild Rose Rabbit Rescue.
