It was wonderfully crowded on New years’ Eve, exactly as New Year’s Eve should be!!! Probably the best spot to be in, to watch the Calgary tower fireworks!!! Plus plenty of fun ice skating. There are options for indoor and outdoor paid parking nearby, so we didn’t have to stress over that, nearby cafe for delicious hot beverages. Overall great ambience and a fire pit to keep warm. Can’t wait to do it again next year.
It was awesome to be part of the Calgary pop up care village where we handed out blankets, hygiene products, and non-perishable food items to those less fortunate than us. We need more of this in our world. We need more love and respect for one another ♥️🙏
Great experience this year Glow event! We went for this festivals last 2 years in a row, this time was the best! The weather was perfect to walk downtown. More stages set up and music played around, many things make us to stop watching it. We really enjoyed the festival.
I was here for my first ice skating in Canada. I loved it. It is a nice place to spend quality family time. Skates on rental are also available at a very reasonable rates and the opening and closing hours are good. Everything is managed by City of Calgary. 👍🏻
A nice place to go to for skating and the skate rental price is pretty cheap as well. If you go when it starts to get dark then the lights turn and it looks really nice. However, if you go during this time or around the holiday time then there is line outside where you have to wait, as there is a capacity limit for the rink.
