I've been working with POP for a few years now on numerous events and they have proved time and time again they are masters at what they do. POP has extensive industry knowledge that is showcased in the high-quality events they prepare for their clients. They go over and above to display a level of service and professionalism required in the corporate event world.
I have nothing but praise for Ken and Meghan and their team. I truly appreciate their passion for their clients, and forward thinking – they are an absolute delight to work with. They always present ideas thoughtfully and are well-organized. They are extremely creative and constantly bringing forward new and fresh ideas, tailored to each event. Their attention to detail and ability to solve problems can’t be beat! Our events are often demanding and have a certain level of expectation and POP delivers and exceeds every time.
We will always choose to work with POP – not only have we developed a great working relationship with them, but they truly are the best at what they do. Thanks Ken and Meghan!
I have nothing but positive things to say about Ken and about POP Kollaborative. I have worked with Ken in multiple capacities, as a vendor, a client and a colleague. I find him to have a huge heart and passion for his clients and his work. His team is always professional and forward thinking.
I must agree that the "anonymous" comment above does seem well crafted and more than a bit coincidental regarding the timing of things and potential new business dealings. If there was truly an issue with a client and a project. why would that person need to hide themselves if they are really concerned about warning others?
I know that Ken is well respected in the event community throughout Canada and the US alike. and I am pleased to call him a friend.
I have worked with Ken and his team for over 7 years. They have produced stampede and Christmas events for us, as well as great fund raising events and anniversary parties for our company. POP is always on top of the latest trends in décor and design, what's new and exciting in menu choices, and have been able to secure us some pretty unique venues for our functions. Our staff have always been impressed overall with our events and it's due to POPs creativity and flair for producing a great event. I enjoy working with Ken, and find his staff to always be helpful, accommodating, and willing to do whatever it takes to make our events feel seamless - they are extremely professional. I would highly recommend using POP for any events whether they be corporate or personal.
I find it discouraging to come here and see the review from "corporate event planner". At least if there was a face to this person, one who has so many terrible things to say about POP, one might take note. The fact that it is anonymous suggest (to me at least) that it's a competitor and not worth the space it is taking up on this page.
Regardless - anyone that's worked with Ken over the years - and I have been so fortunate - know what a professional and exceptionally talented individual he is. This goes for his staff as well, many who I have dealt with over the years for some of the best parties this city has ever seen.
As a corporate DJ, I never have to worry about anything when I show up on site as the service, the attention to detail and the way I am treated sets a very high bar. One only has to look at the peer voted awards in his office to know this is true. This is a small community and I have seen the collaboration between other event planners that work with Ken and that makes this distasteful review from "corporate event planner" that much harder to swallow.
I'm probably wasting my time here as it is doubtful the large organisations spend their valuable time looking at google reviews. It would seem to me that all of the great work he does and will continue to do comes from the repeat clients I get to play to every Christmas season and how highly recommended POP comes.
