Gringa quesadilla was really good

The taco platter is my go to! So delicious. (Chorizo and chicken specifically) We also buy the tortilla chips and a few salsas to enjoy at home and they get eaten in a few days. (Roasted red pepper salsa is my favourite) It’s perfect for potluck parties as well. The staff here is so welcoming and warm. I recommend this place 100%! 😊

A friend and I each had a lovely
cheese quesadilla at the Farmers Market (actually we each got 2 quesadillas with our order)!
The 3 toppings were each in individual lidded containers on the side. We will definately be back!!
The presentation of the meal was exceptional and the wait time was short!! Our beeper went off in less than 5 minutes!!

Shared an almost $14 burrito with my husband. It was SOOOO BLAND - what tasted like simple boiled rice with carrots and green peas (like the frozen kind you get from the grocery store) and some ground beef (I didn't taste any seasoning) and cheese all rolled in a tortilla. There may have been a few beans in there but I didn't have any on the part I ate. A skimp of sauce on top cross-wise (not lengthwise) that offered no perceivable flavour to the blandness inside. The chips and bit of salsa the burrito came with were good and we tried to spread the salsa on the burrito to offer it some flavour. Very disappointing as I love the flavours of Mexico - chilli, cilantro, corn etc. Sadly they were missing here.

Edit: I appreciate and respect this business owner's response to my review - thank you. I am familiar with authentic Mexican burritos, and agree they are different than what many here expect. May I suggest a warning to patrons of the simplicity of the burrito and an automatic offer of extra salsa or sauce to those who might have a more adventurous palate? I understand controlling costs but frozen peas and carrots might be helped by some corn - cheap and delicious sweetness and crunch!

This Mexican food was amazing. We enjoyed from the first bite and I smiled the whole time. The chicken tamales were delicious. Highly recommended.
