Downsizing to our new Baywest Bungalow Villa has been one of the best decisions we have made. An interprovincial move is never easy but dealing with the Baywest team, both from across the country pre-move, and once settled in our new home, has been the easiest part of the transition by far. With all the quality standard features, our new home checked off more boxes than we had listed. With even more design layouts available now, than when we first saw the show homes, we can honestly say that we would not hesitate to recommend Baywest to any of our friends or family. Our sales rep, Doug Judd, was knowledgeable and responsive and went out of his way (and still does!) to assist us and make the transition as easy and as enjoyable as possible. I am sure with the time change between provinces we often (accidentally) caught him off-hours, yet he still went out of his way to respond via text, phone or email. When you are that far away from the situation, that means a lot. We have friends and family who are in the process of renovating or building new homes and their stories of woe regarding workmanship and disinterested parties post-build, prepared us to meet stumbling blocks with the move and when dealing with new home. In that regard, we truly have had nothing but a great story to tell! Russ and all the trades that we have dealt with have exceeded all of our expectations. They are friendly, expedient and efficient. As for the community, we love Mahogany. We still feel like we are living in a little vacation town. Our walks are beautiful. There is lots to see and do. And with the location of our home, groceries, entertainment, healthcare and the lake are a 5 or 10 minute walk at most. You really don’t even need to leave Mahogany, but when you do, the best thing about it is that you get to come back! We highly recommend Baywest and couldn’t be happier.

Doug Judd the Sales Rep has been an absolute joy to deal with. Through the entire process he has always been helpful, patient and accommodating with my numerous questions and requests, and has offered great suggestions and recommendations. He answers texts and emails during his off time which is never expected, but always appreciated. He sends progress pictures of the build which is always exciting to receive since I live across the city.

Ashley the Designer is fabulous. I walked into my first appointment feeling overwhelmed at the thought of having to make so many decisions. Ashley expertly navigated the appointments into a fun, easy and rewarding experience. There was never any pressure to choose upgrades however the suggestions she presented where so valuable, as I would never have thought of them on my own. I would like to note that not many upgrades were needed, since Baywest's Standard already includes numerous upgrades.

The Realtor that Baywest provided to sell my house was not just “any” Realtor, but one of the top rated in the City. David Johnson is very professional and a great guy to deal with. He worked relentlessly, and come offer day, he cancelled appointments and dedicated the entire day negotiating between 2 offers to get me the best deal. Also to note, the sale was done in 9 days during COVID.

Josh at Cartwright Lighting was very helpful with choosing my lighting selections. He had all of my plans ready which helped with scale and made the process seamless. Ashley also met me at the store to help make the selections that would work in my house. I was then emailed pictures of all of my selections which is nice for reference.

Steve at Trail Appliances was very knowledgeable and directed me to choose the appliances that work for me.

I am extremely happy and grateful with Baywest and the amazing Team that they have put together to make my home building process such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this company and their outstanding Team!
