My daughter was a participant in the past in Cassa Musical and she loved it. She learnt so much, especially how to be more confident. I would recommend Cassa to anyone musical!
The CASSA piano camp is an excellent fast-paced program for students hoping to get a taste of what's it's like to be in music school at the post-secondary level, as most young pianists start off by working one -on- one with their instructors for many years and, (like myself when I was little) don't really get a sense of collaborating with other pianists or musicians from private lessons
Fast forward to today, as a professional collaborative pianist now specializing in string accompanying, I can honestly say this camp was my first wonderful experience of musical collaboration with others. The choir singing, piano ensembles and working with highly skilled, knowledgeable clinicians were all very enjoyable and inspiring! I'm recommending this program to my own students these many years later.
This was my first year taking a class. The course was offered online and it made it more convenient for me to attend. I loved the course and the instructors were awesome! I will definitely enroll again!
The week long piano camp was amazing! The teachers were incredible, they were nice and friendly and they gave amazing guidance which helped me play the pieces to the best of my abilities. I loved the choir course, it was unexpected but very nice to have.
Cassa offers a series of musical summer camps and my daughter attended its piano camp last year (online) and this year (in person). Both times were invaluable experiences. There, you can learn from several amazing teachers and an annual clinician, who usually is a university professor, and meet friends/peers who share the same music passion. In addition to master classes for refining repertoires and recitals for enhancing performing experience, Cassa also offers ensemble playing and choir, which are rare in normal private study but very helpful for growing pianists. If you or your kids love music, especially piano, never miss Cassa in summer. When thinking of registering, do not worry about the level of pieces you are playing; the only thing you need to do is get your pieces well prepared. Remember, the better you prepare, the more benefits you will get from Cassa.
