I am so lucky to have found John King's company to renew some treasured furniture. His personal care and attention was much appreciated. Made the finishes better than new!

John did a fantastic job on our 80 year old dining room table and chairs, the table had been through a couple of generations of families with kids, ink stains, an amateur refinishing job in the sixties. All the chairs felt as though they were going to fall apart when you sat on them. John completed the work ahead of time to meet our schedule, the table looks better than new and the chairs are all rock solid. Highly recommended.

When we moved our two antique side tables up from the U.S. to Calgary, the movers basically destroyed the two tables. Both tables were over 100 years old and were in my family for that amount of time. We were so distraught thinking that we would never be able to repair them. Then we found Finishing Traditions. John gave us the confidence that our tables would be restored. To say that I am impressed by his workmanship and skill would be a gross understatement. Our tables were repaired to their original look and strength and we could not be happier. Thank you again John.

Brought my Mom's antique table to John. The tip was split and legs were falling off. Got it back yesterday and it looks amazing like a new table. I'm so impressed. A great craftsman and a super friendly and honest guy. I highly recommend him. When I get back to her home I'll take a picture and add it here. I wish I had a before picture. It would shock you.

I've had to have repairs to furniture three times in the last four years, and Finishing Traditions have done an excellent job. They give me fair quotes - usually with a range of options using restoration, functionality and cost parameters. Each time I've been very pleased with the results. They do what they say, excellent value for the money. No inhibitions to recommend to others. Nice guy too.
