I had just recently moved to the Cochrane area and was in a bind trying to find someone to assemble my hospital bed. After many frustrating phone calls with other companies, I spoke with a representative from NSM and they were at my home that afternoon. They went above and beyond, providing a printed instruction book for myself as well as information for additional services/products. Since that first meeting, I have returned to NSM for assistance with a wheelchair accessory installation, and they provided this service to me no charge. I was surprised and grateful for that. I’m now working with them to attain a power assist for my wheelchair. A representative came to my residence with a similar power assist for me to trial, and he was detailed and thorough in assessing my situation and what equipment would serve me best. I would recommend NSM to anyone that requires mobility or activities of daily living assistance as they offer a large range of products and possess the knowledge to ensure you get your needs met. Their remote service is also of great benefit, giving people like myself who are located outside of Calgary assistance that does not always require a lengthy drive. I had to have my 80 yr.old mother fitted for a wheel chair. Tessa O.T. was amazing at making her feel comfortable, carefully assessing her needs and explaining options. She and Mike created the perfect fit chair, and Mike delivered it to the residence for trial, explained everything. So prompt with the delivery; his care and concern to ensure everything went smoothly is outstanding. Additionally, he and Tessa took care of everything to order the final chair, clearly explaining how things would go, no hassle at all and made every effort to ensure mom received her chair as soon as possible to the best of their ability.
The chair fits mom perfectly, she is not only more comfortable and pain free, she has regained greater independence with such tasks as eating, because it has made such a difference with her posture.
Tessa and Mike have checked in to make sure everything is going well. They are easy to communicate with, talented and knowledgable individuals who are kind and genuinely compassionate towards their clients. Mike delivered my bated and my wheelchair to my house quite a distance away explain the entire set up and did not leave until I felt comfortable with my unit amazing service He was also very attentive and responsive I will continue to return for any other needs I require in mobility
