True Mettle

Joel runs a first class training facility. In keeping with other comments below, it's all encompassing and with Joel's boundless enthusiasm and knowledge, there really isn't much you can't do there.
Joel is a professional in his field as well as having an excellent sense of humour (ably assisted by 'Arrow'-Rope Access wonder Dog). It was a pleasure to be a part of Joel's course which included IRATA level 1 renewal (me), SPRAT level 2's and a new IRATA level 3. We were all engaged with plenty to do and with an omni-present focus on us all, any deviations from the norm were quickly spotted and corrected, with suggestions made to assist. 'True Mettle' has a genuine and friendly atmosphere where all are welcome, young or old(er), Rocket scientist or average fellow.
Access is easy with Hotels nearby (5 minute walk) but you'll need wheels if your self catering as the nearest Grocery is 2 miles away.
A tremendous week of training and I'd recommend 'True Mettle' to anyone thinking of getting into ropes or recertifying, you won't be disappointed.

Great training facility, modern equipment, well organized. Did my L3 re-cert there and was impressed. Joel is super knowledgeable and a great teacher.

Very good training facility, top notch equipment .
Very knowledgeable instructors, they went above and beyond to make sure we are understand every single movement.
Also if you need any equipment for your job you can make call and get all you need .
Highly recommend to do courses with them.

Did my L3 recert here a little while back, and it was easily the best place I've done training in my rope access career yet. Joel is informed on all the material and more. He also made training super fun and engaging. I would recommend anybody to come here hands down. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to coming here again. - Jason

Awesome facility. Top notch trainers. When you have people working in the field you want to make sure they receive proper training form qualified professionals and this is the place to do it. Joel and the team are great. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, we had a great time putting the whole team through a week long session and it was awesome.
