So very meaningful. I visit the field of crosses every year to pay my respects to those that have and continue to sacrifice for us. Every year there are more stories and photos attached to crosses that groups and individuals have provided so that people can connect with our veterans.

For those who leave, never to return. For those who return but are never the same. We remember.

If you have never had the opportunity to go check out the Field of Crosses downtown along Memorial Drive- you really need to go check it out. What an incredibly somber experience. 3500 crosses. All the names. All the ages. All the rankings and all the death dates along with some that have stories. It gave me goosebumps. What an incredible memorial for our fallen Soldiers.
