Fantastic experience!
I rented a scooter for my father who lives in Calgary. I was able to make all the arrangements from Ontario and it was delivered for free, while I was visiting him in Calgary. Kim and Dave Moore (the owners) are medically knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. They made suggestions and reviewed available options. Communication with this family owned business was excellent- I had many interactions with other scooter rental companies that were not positive. I highly recommend you start with this company, as they have competitive prices and the service is excellent. Learning about mobility aids for yourself or a family member is difficult- so use a company that is going to make an effort to get you exactly what you need.

I am currently very weak because of an auto-immune flare up and thought I would have to miss out on summer activities like the Folk Festival because of how much walking is involved. Kim and Ryanne assured me that they would be able to provide an appropriate scooter for my body type and be able to DELIVER and PICK UP at the location I desired.

Theoren was very patient teaching me how to use the scooter when he delivered it, and gracious about the late pick up time. The scooter was extremely comfortable and easy to use. The cost was incredibly reasonable, especially given the wonderful customer service and quality scooter offered. Having such knowledgeable caring mobility experts, and a service like this is a wonderful gift I will definitely be making use of again myself and can’t wait to tell others about.

I was searching for a mobility scooter to rent for my father. No one across town was able to help and were fairly dismissive. I am so glad that I found Kim and Dave with Proactive Health & Wellness. My dad was able to be with us all day at the zoo, Tyrell museum, stampede and other events. Proactive are a locally owned small business and have gone above and beyond to rent us a scooter. Besides being very friendly and accommodating they are very knowledgeable, offer both delivery and pickup any where in the city, and have a wide variety of scooters to rent. They showed up on time and made the effort to show us how everything worked and answer any questions. I would fully recommend any one to rent or buy from Proactive. You won't be disappointed.
