Recently brought my 72 Celica here to sandblast. There really isn’t anything bad to say about this place for DIY sandblasting.
The staff were helpful and super friendly. Rates are more than fair, equipment is up to date, quality equipment and safe.
If I ever have any sandblasting to do in the future I will be back and highly recommend this place to others.
Thanks for everything!
Great place to get some DIY sandblasting done. All you need to bring is your project, some overalls, and vinyl gloves. They provide the ventilated hood, sandblasting gloves and obviously the equipment. They also are very friendly and helpful to noobs like me. Note that during COVID they only allow 7 people a day, so go early if you're worried. (the hoods must be complicated to clean)
You can work in the yard and cost is reasonable at $150/hr (minimum charge is $50 for 1/3 hour). I left being completely satisfied with the experience. It took me an hour to blast the tub of my Jeep YJ.
Organized and user friendly. Covid 19 precautions are in place and staff ready to help. Price is $150 per hour and seems a little costly but satisfied with the outcome. Thanks.
So I will join the chorus in saying this is a pretty unique place with helpful staff. I have done about 5 trips here and is been a savior when trying to get rust off so it never comes back. I have had employees be a little snippy here but I think that was really about my misunderstanding of safety rules. It is relatively pricey and make sure your wearing boots, long pants and sleeves regardless of weather.
I needed to strip some exhaust components to get them ready to be coated. They set me up with a workbench to get the parts sorted and ready, which was left off the clock. They showed me how to use the equipment, and gave me some good advice on which media to use for the application.
I'm really pleased with how the parts turned out, and I was a able to get it done for a really good price. They'll help you out with your project here, no matter the scale. Check them out!
