Gateway Pet Memorial

EDIT: Justin, the manager reached out to me immediately and apologized for the whole ordeal. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances the redo of Mio's pawprint was still not satisfactory. However, his determination to remedy the problem, and being extremely sincere in his apologies and action. I am willing to changed my 1-star review to a 3-star. I hope that this becomes a learning experience for the whole team and this does not happen again to any other pet parent.

I've recently lost my pet rabbit, Mio. And being my first lost pet, myself and my family is extremely distraught and upset. Gateway was supposed to give me and my family closure and bring home our baby once again. Imagine my surprise when I've finally received the custom picture frame/ash holder with the paw print imprints. THAT THEY WERENT EVEN MIOS PAWPRINTS. They're not even rabbit prints, they're cat prints?! How can they make such a devastating mistake. It makes me even wonder if they even gave me the proper ashes. The frame was supposed to be Mahogany red. But they gave us black. The incorrect colour frame I can live with. But the paw print? You can't redo that! My rabbit has been cremated! How can you compensate for this. How can you make such a mistake. This isn't a wrong fast food order, or the wrong size dress. This is the memorial of a beloved family pet. A family member. It has already been a devastating blow to our lives and our hearts to lose him after only 8 years. But now to know that our memorial for him wasn't even made correctly, and cannot even be rectified. Our hearts are shattered once again. And I fight back tears writing this review. My whole family is in tears learning that Mio's pawprints were not preserved properly. Absolutely unforgivable and disappointing.

Our small animal vet recommended Gateway and we brought in our Flemish giant rabbit, who had passed away. Cara at Gateway is an amazing woman, so compassionate and understanding. Our experience was exceptional and I highly recommend Gateway.

When we had to make the decision to let our 12 year old beloved friend cross the rainbow bridge Gateway was there to help us through that. They took the very best care of our loved one, I knew that everything was going to be taken care of on their end. Johnny was treated with respect and dignity that all loved one deserve when it is their time to cross over. The urn that we received and the memorial products were above and beyond anything that I could have wanted. The team at Gateway and especially Justin provided me with something so very special to remember our little buddy with and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you

We recently lost our kitty and chose the private cremation option with the vet clinic. We had never been through the process before, and because it was the middle of the night when we made our arrangements at the clinic, I reached out to Gateway for some assistance. I got a very quick response from Cara who provided me with all the information that she could and promised they would look after our sweet buddy until he was able to come home. Her words of compassion meant the world to us when we were hurting so much, and when we picked up his remains from the vet clinic, we really felt like he was treat like one of their own.
