Little Red Reading House by Calgary Reads

Little Red Reading House is an amazing experience to bring children of all ages. Colorful, whimsical, loaded with reading nooks and books of all kindd to explore, this house will delight the entire family.

This is such a wonderful place for kids to read and explore with lots of nooks for them to take their books into. There are outdoor reading areas as well. The selection of books is for a variety do ages and levels. It is such a fun place. Each room is decorated in a different book theme. Reservations are needed to book visitation time slots.

I loved coming here! It's like entering the fantasy world of a book lover! There are some many places to sit and read, enjoy a good book, and inspire a love of reading with children.

This is such a great thing to do with kids. Parking is a challenge but worth it. On the main leve there are books books books and reading nooks and snuggly places. Upstairs is a more active / doing area where there are things to make and explore. They have the most amazing little doll house. I think my fav is the sunflower room. We took a bag of books to donate. The facilitators were great, helpful at just the right times, but letting families explore as they want. There are books there for older kids, but mostly aimed at elementary and younger.
