My family visit the CJCA weekly (before the pandemic). The CJCA is our second home in Calgary, where are family can reconnect to our Japanese roots.

Very warm volunteers that are very welcoming. The japanese library is a gem that is missing from the general public library in Calgary. They throw a great omatsuri in August.
Who said them wooden shoes are heavy.. they hop sing right to me...
Very well maintained, even during the winter months, the sidewalks, pathways and even the parking lot are always cleared of snow! During the summer months, the lawn is always beautiful, along with the garden! Inside is also beautiful, welcoming to anyone who walk through the doors!
