Came here for their Burnch Buffet. The Lemon Salmon and the Cinnamon French toast were the star of the morning.
The site is beautifully restored and maintained. The history is rich and educational.
Amazing venue, beautiful decor and ambiance. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and they offered good suggestions! There is even another pub in the basement! Food was good, the lunch menu is pretty casual with a variety of things to choose from. We will definitely be back to try the brunch and supper! So much wonderful history here as well, apparently Queen Elizabeth one stayed here!
Best eggs benedict ever! Staff were all courteous, very friendly, and attentive. My eggs were perfectly cooked, my partner enjoyed a decadent french toast and an amazing dark ale! Amazing eclectic menu, something for everyone! Having brunch here was an experience not just a meal. Highly recommended!
Great night and dinner in the pub. Steak frite, short rib, burger, and pasta special all enjoyed and started with nice charcuterie to share. Great food and drink. THEN DOWNSTAIRS, to the living room for more drink , pool, darts and shuffle board. Maybe next time will play a board game. Fine night out at the great new place in the hood.
Thank you bobby for the great service and wine recommendation.
Have also had a chance to try the great breakfast also, eggs benny, house sausage as a side and bright morning view in the conservatory. Another hit, kinda likin this place.
Update, spendin time here great food and some new items with the new chef. Chicken curry, pulled chicke sandwich mm good. Nice sunny patio and ice creme
No doubt it's a cosy pub/ restaurant. But one star has to go coz the server kept taking off his mask saying he can't breath (don't understand why he doesn't look for a better mask). Second, the food was just okay given it's Earl's quality - burger/pizza/fries (the fries were dry and the curry chicken was underwhelming). It's nice to check it out but prob once is about enough.
