(September 20, 2022, 7:03 pm)We went to a friends wedding here a few weeks ago. It was perfect. The barn was clean and rustic just as I remembered. The manager Jennifer and bartender Victoria were delightful to deals with. All we had to do to clean up was clean off the tables and put them back against the wall. Not a big deal. Not sure why this other guy thinks he had to clean the whole hall. I got married here a year ago during COVID and we had the best little wedding every and was disappointed to see such negative reviews coming up lately. But after some more reading noticed it’s the same group that keeps complaining weekly. Everyone else seems to be extremely happy with their experience. It’s sad when someone is so hateful that they need to try and destroy a business. But believe me the Shawnessy Barn is a great place to hold your event. — Lorraine. ❤️

(September 5, 2022, 11:06 pm)We had our wedding reception at the Shawnessy Barn on September 3rd. It was such a perfect spot for us. Jennifer was so easy to communicate with and made our set up a breeze. One of the best bangs for your buck in regards to venues within Calgary. Have the bar, bartender, all the corkage apart of it made things super simple, and I was able to supply my own booze.
It was a perfect night and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

(September 3, 2022, 12:29 am)We had our wedding at this rustic barn in August 2022. What a beautiful place, well kept and had a great ambiance. The manager Jennifer was great to work with and made our day so much less stressful. We enjoyed the outside area and enjoyed partying on the patio into the evening. The var staff was very fun and guided us at the end of the night. Definitely would recommend the Barn for your event.
