starling pet & variety store

We were camping near Nanton and drove to Claresholm to get some dog treats and a toy....OMG this place is awesome, never seen so many things in a small store - good things not junk!!! Staff is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and my little furr baby was even welcomed. Prices are unreal as compared to places like PetSmart. We'll definitely be back because we enjoyed the small town hospitality. We would give it a 6 star rating because 5 is not enough !!!!😜

I love this store and i want to work at it but im to young. This store is a great petstore that sells a bunch of pet supplies and fish, the store is amazing!

Sharon is great, always helpful and ready to help. She has a wide variety of items packed into a tiny store.

Full of lots of pets products for all species. Live fish, often live birds, and some small rodents occasionally too(brought in on purpose😉). Crickets and meal worms, just all the stuff really.

She is very well stocked for all of our pets. We are very lucky to have her. She is also willing to try new things and suggestions which is great.

On top of all of that she has some clothes and toys, a small selection of gift items, some candy, sewing items, a huge selection of useful gadgets and handy items and so much more. If that were not enough to stuff into one store she also sells Avon and carries a lot of the most popular items in stock.

She really has a little of everything, which makes it a lot! Definitely worth checking out. A little Gem, and all alone now in that little strip of the street but don't mistake her for a store to miss!
