The Prairie Creek Inn

Great place for a relaxing vacation. I'd give it 5 stars but their restaurant wasn't open for dinner as they didn't have a chef. Pretty inconvenient given the location.

Several spots to sit and enjoy nature alone or a campfire with friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at The Prairie Creek Inn this month. We stayed for four nights in the Aspen Treehouse. We absolutely adored the cabin. It was rustic yet luxurious. It was spacious yet cozy. I enjoyed morning coffee doing crossword puzzles on the front deck, listening to birds singing to me. Heavenly. The view from the cabin is essentially forest, and we were lucky enough to see three deer one evening stroll right past our window. We spent time walking along the creek, enjoying the views from the many red Adirondack chairs on the property. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and also had breakfast delivered to us each morning. The food was good and ample. But the service is what I came here to write about. The staff are really lovely. I never met one who wasn't exceedingly friendly. It was truly a wonderful experience to have such a helpful team of staff.

We stayed 3 nights at the Owl's Nest Cabin. It was great with the fireplace out front and a very cozy well-designed cabin.
We dined 2 nights in a row at the restaurant and had the best maple bacon wrapped chicken ever. Very well done all around.
