I love Dr. YORK he reminds me of a cuddle little teddy bear he does whatever he can to help you.
I was more than impressed with the efficiency and warmth shown to me by Dr. York and his staff. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to be a patient here.
I can't say enough about the staff, very friendly. Always makes people feel welcome. My Dr is an angel and has a very good bedside manner who explains things. Thank you.
I waited about 2 months to get in. The receptionist gave detailed and accurate instructions on how to get into town the easiest way. There was plenty of parking and I was worried that the wooden sidewalk would be slippery, but it was perfect. I entered through double doors and left wet boots and my jacket to hang in the front entrance. Other patients were friendly and a group discussion took place. My breathing test was done with very clear instructions. Nothing to get nervous about. I wondered if she had broadcasting training. A voice for radio- a mind for medicine! Then off to see the doctor. The appointment did not feel rushed and I didn't leave thinking that I forgot certain details. She was a great communicator, with lots of attention to detail. The office had large rooms and you didn't feel like anyone was over-hearing private conversations. Equipment was clean and the office recycles. I am confident that my health is in good hands.
Took my Mom for tests and a doctor visit. Mom is a heavy, unsteady 83 year old. The doctor who did the tests was excellent. He gave her lots of time to understand what he wanted. He coached her continually through each test. And then he braced his arm on the cubicle so she could get out more easily. She loved the extra attention. And the doctor afterwards was patient and calm. She answered all our questions. I'm not the daughter who usually takes Mom to these things and this doctor was willing to repeat everything she had told my sister. Great people. I would definitely recommend them. My only complaint was that the building has a weird porch with columns blocking the way. Mom had trouble maneuvering her oxygen machine around them. And then there are little ramps to fix an issue with the height of the door jambs but even the ramps required more muscle than Mom has. I didn't see a ramp to get on the porch either. It could definitely have better handicapped access.
