Awesome place. Lots of accommodation options for overnight stays.
I haven't stayed over night here but I've visited friends camped here. It a nice place. I'll update more when I stay there for a couple days.
We stayed in the West Cabin this weekend and it was very well equipped and a great size for our family of 5. The cabin was very clean. My one complaint was that it had been smoked in. As non smokers this was very disappointing for us. In this day and age we didn’t even think to ask if it was non-smoking. All five of us were complaining of sore throats and were coughing after the first night. We thought about leaving for the next 2 nights but we had our dog with us and knew it would be hard to find last minute accommodation that accepted pets. Instead we spent as much time as we could away from the cabin. It’s unfortunate because this would be a great place otherwise.
My husband and I stayed in the log cabin to attend a wedding, it was cozy and certainly more than I expected out of a typical cabin. It was very clean, which gets major points! The only hiccup was our coffee maker didnt brew, but we found a Tim's close by! We will definitely be returning!
The location is quite charming and it is a nice little campground, but when we arrived they didn't have our booking in the computer. We had requested a walk in campsite which was not prepared for us. The young guy at the desk claimed that there was no way that we would be able to stay at any of the walk in cam sites. Upon inspection, after having set up out tent on one of their RV gravel pads, we found that other than some long grass we would have been just fine in the tenting sites. The $25 was quite expensive given that we were tenting on a gravel pad and there are no showers for the campsites.
