Great place to shoot clays. Professional and knowledgable staff.

One full quarter section, immaculately groomed and maintained. Beautifully manicured grass fields, bush clumps and trails leading to interesting stations with hidden clay target throwers. Challenges vary from beginners to advanced, so for every one there is ample to choose from. It is a wonderful way to spend a morning, afternoon or evening. The grass is kept short, minimizing bug discomfort. Picnic tables are at intervals. Large club house. All stations are electronically operated, delay times can be keyed in for those wanting a challenge or shoot alone. For those wanting to shoot more traditional clay games, there is an excellent skeet field and trap shooting bunker lay out. The annual membership fee includes 1000 targets. Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Yes, it is definitely a 5 star, also the nicest sporting clay target range, West of Ontario.

This place is awesome! Its like red-neck golf! There are many different stations (holes) to walk or quad around to with each station set up differently for shooting variations. Some clays will come at you, some away, some cris-cross (true pair shooting - two clays in the air at a time) and a few unique stations that put you above the clays in flight. There are also different sized clays for different critter mimicking. There are your standard sized clays for ducks, geese, partridge in flight. There are tiny clays (something like 2.5" across) to represent teals and there are ones that are launched on the ground that represent rabbits.
All this and there are still the classic stations for skeet and 5 stand (no handicap though). They truly represent a very large variety with seasonally changing launcher movement to keep the experience fresh.
It is a little out of the way for impulse shooting (45 min to an hour from Edmonton) and they have small public hours. Well worth the planned trip to go and even more fun with a group of people. Consider on of the annual events from one of the local charities like Ducks Unlimited or Delta Waterfowl for an awesome shoot and BBQ and silent Auction to follow. These run (normally) the first weekend in May and June.
DO bring lots of bug spray and sunscreen. This is nature at its finest and there is no hiding from her, lol.
