Burger Baron Drive In

Food is great. Building could be upgraded. Coffee was nothing to write home about, but typical for a fast food place.

Excellent. My friend n I had been out for a drive & it was getting passed my lunchtime so once we hit Lamont I suggested we find some place to grab a bite. Low n behold one of my favorite burger places was not only in Lamont but it was open for drive thru only & that was fine by me.

After reading the reviews for Lamont Burger Baron my hubby and I weren't too sure we wanted to eat here. We decided we will try it and make our own opinion of them. So glad we did try them! Last night, we called in advance as I read another review that said fried chicken was delicious but required 20 min wait time to cook. So we called with about 12 min notice and had to wait about another 10 min for our meal. I had a 3 piece chicken meal and it was delicious! There was a lot of fries and their gravy was so awesome, I could have drank it! Chicken was hot and juicy. I ate my whole meal (except for the bun) & I normally never finish a 3 piece meal but it was so good I couldn't stop. The burger my husband had was a typical fast food burger. He said it wasn't the best he has had but certainly wasn't the worst. We also shared a large chocolate milkshake that was also enjoyable. As this was our first time to a Burger Baron in a number of years we weren't sure what options there were. When I called in our order I advised the lady of this and she was super helpful and patient. With A&W no longer offering fried chicken (which is my favorite place to get it), I will be making Burger Baron the place to get my fried chicken! The only reason I gave 4 ☆ rather than 5 is due to price. It was quite pricey even for a small town. The bacon cheese burger, 3 piece chicken dinner & milkshake was just over $34. We understand they have to make money with likely less traffic coming in but it was still a bit much. However, the food was good and plentiful so we will be back.
