  Happy Frankie the Maltese turned 12 today despite having a number of health issues. He has been in Dr. Howlette's care since day 1 and highly recommend him and his staff.

  We have been coming to Belle Rive for about 5 years now. We have always been delighted with the exceptional care the team has given to our dogs.

  Dr. Howlette is fantastic! He’s very kind and patient with our cats, and with us. He is always willing to explain everything or anything you have questions about, whether it be about medications, diet, conditions or tests.
  
  His staff members are also wonderful, polite and accommodating.
  
  They were able to fit me into their busy schedule for a problem with my asthmatic cat and in no way made me feel like an inconvenience.
  
  I can’t say enough positive things about this clinic, and recommended it time and time again to anyone who needs one for their furry family members.

  I have no idea why my review of Belle Rive got entered initially as a 1 star...if there was a way of rating higher than 5...I would. Dr. Howlett is a super person to deal with, handing my concerns and questions without making me feel an absolute fool. He seems to treat every animal as if they were his own. If there is a way for you to have Belle Rive as your care provider for your animal I would, without hesitation, absolutely recommend them. They always follow up after a visit to make sure that your animal is ok and there are no concerns. Just super all around. In an age of what seems to be a "me, me, me" mentality, it is refreshing and reassuring to know there are still good people like the staff of Belle Rive in this world.

  So knowledgeable and caring. Saved our cat’s life when he was in severe respiratory distress from heart disease. We’ll be forever grateful. Highly recommend this vet.
