Best Buy

Wow a great trip that although they did not have the product they had staff right at the door that were knowledgeable even to that product comes in on Tuesday come in then. Awesome service in this time of well what can you say hell! Lol

Well, usually I don't like going to Best Buy, but with everything starting to lock down, and the expediency of deliveries from Amazon being unreliable, I was left with Best Buy as my only hope for finding an HDMI -> Thunderbolt adapter cable (I'm trying to move what was supposed to be an in-person event to online and need it to get video stuff working).

Anyway, I saw their hours more limited and wondered if they'd even be open, but they were. It turned out they were letting people in if they knew what they were looking for, and each person had to have an escort, no browsing.

I'll admit, this might have been the greatest experience I've ever had at Best Buy (and I've been to a lot -- I used to do mystery shipping which involved going to a lot of Best Buys). I didn't have to look for help, help was right there! I had his sole attention! His only goal was to help me find what I was looking for! He didn't wander off looking for something and forget about me. He helped me find what I was looking for, and I was on my merry way, disease-free!

It's nice to see them making efforts to keep open for the local community while taking precautions to keep us and their employees safe.

Good selection... The smart devices can control you whole life now it seems. Who thought of a smart alarm clock with Google Assistant? So high tech.
