I have recently become a member after wanting to learn Karate since I was a kid but never had the oppurtinity. This has been an awesome experience right from my first class. Sensei Irek is a great teacher and I am looking forward to training and progressing in the coming years. I would highly recommend you check out the Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club.
Great first experience with Kyokushin Karate!
Instructors are very helpful and encouraging which made our daughter’s first class a lot of fun and beneficial. We researched different schools online before landing on Edmonton Kyokushin Karate Club based on our friend's recommendation. What we appreciated was the high qualifications of the instructors and friendly environment. Based on this, I felt we would be benefiting the most from classes at this club compared to other places in Edmonton. The support and encouragement in this club was continuous. No matter what skill or fitness level you will be welcomed and challenged to give your all.
Our daughter has been attending the 5-8 year old classes twice weekly. Fees include the option to attend three classes a week. Great value.
Good communication for families and wonderful instructors. For a child who has difficulty holding focus, karate has given her confidence and drive. She looks forward to advancing and is willing to work hard. She thrives when given positive feedback from instructors that she respects.
This place is great! Classes are intense in a good way. Students are visibly motivated and challenged to their limits every session. Kids are having a great time. I was pleasantly surprised to be learning discipline and motivation techniques from watching good karate insruction that i can apply to coaching of other sports myself. I am impressed.
Hi, when I was looking for karate classes I wanted a class that was BRUTAL(In a good way) and actually felt like a warm and homey place. This class is EXACTLY that. I really love it and hopefully would never have to quit. The teachers are very nice and push you to your limit. The students make you feel like one of their own and welcome you.
