Dr. Douglas Fonteyne

I like this doctor but almost always I need to wait for 2 weeks to see him and I end up go to random walkin clinic..seems he has too many patients.. and his office receptionists are worst part..even today I was on phone waiting 40min then someone just hang up on me and when I call back it says office is closed ... other than poor office service ..extremely long wait time..doctor himself I'm satisfied with.

Absolutely fantastic GP. Have seen him for many years, after struggling to find someone whom I trust. He's very approachable and down to earth. Many of my family and friends now see him as well, and I'm not aware of anyone who's had a poor experience. Only negative is the wait time (to make appt, lead time for appt, and wait time while at clinic). Could be better, but the quality of care is worth the wait IMHO.

I am 64, and over the years I have seen many Doctors. Dr. Fontyene is the best ive ever had. My son and friends see him as well.

Amazing doctor. One of the best in the city. However I cant even begin to describe how bad the staff is there. But I will try. When you call...your on hold for 45 minutes. Sometimes they pick up right away. Why? Well go in and you'll see. ALL of them fool around make jokes walk away from their desks as I even hear the phone ringing and they slam everyone on hold. Noone is ever there to answer the phone because they are busy comparing dog photos or something. Then you get an appointment and same thing. They fool around and EVENTUALLY get to you. They regularly empty the entire rooms and dont add more people. It's simple math and the amount of times I've been there. It shouldn't be a 1 hour process to set an appointment for 2-3 weeks away. My SPECIALIST doctors office has a hold time of about 30 seconds-2 minutes and book me for my understandable 1 month+ wait. This has been a problem for about 5 years now and still no improvement.
