(January 30, 2019, 9:05 pm)Have had two guitars repaired here now, both have come out immaculate and playing like new. Staff are very friendly and help you with whatever you need. Setups/Repairs are insanely quick too, both are ready after 24 hours in the shop. Will be back to buy soon!
(January 25, 2019, 2:52 am)Visited this location for the first time today. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were there to answer any questions but not hovering of you so you felt pressured which I appreciate. They had a decent selection of guitars and drums which I'm mainly interested in but had only 2 left handed acoustic guitars on display. So my brother who is a lefty didn't have a lot of options.
(December 27, 2018, 9:29 pm)I do not know what it is with staff at long and mcquade but most of the staff always seem so miserable and unhappy to help. I try to do my research on what I want before coming in but when I do have questions I am usually met with snarky responses as if my question was stupid. This alone will lead me to a different location or online. 4 stars because the store is at least clean and I did see some very enthusiastic staff helping other customers, just wish I was able to deal with them instead.
(December 11, 2018, 8:56 am)I was looking to get back into guitar without breaking the bank. I was browsing buy/sell ads and it wasn’t going very well.
I decided to browse the store on 149 st, and I walked out with a nice new “used” setup about an hour later. The prices were better than what most private sellers were asking & the no-pressure sales team let me try whatever I wanted.
