I thought it was really good! Came for brunch and had the Tofu Florentine and a coconut chai latte to drink and enjoyed both items!
Not too pricey either
A vibrant and shining example of plant-based cuisine. Kanu Cafe doesn't simply throw a bunch of plant ingredients together, charge a premium, and pass off as "trendy" — the dishes are sharp, well composed, and packed with flavour. The atmosphere is comfortable, modern, and chic — it's a pleasure to stop in during any time of the day. Oh, and of course, everything about this place is VERY Instagram-able.
We had a wonderful dinner at Kanu Cafe tonight. We loved the food, so many great flavors, very creative combinations, and the presentation of the food is amazing, right out of a magazine! The service was friendly and the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed our meals and would definitely return.
Food was tasty. Not too salty. All the ingredients are blended together nicely and has a balanced taste, except the cilantro garnish. I guess because I don't like cilantro. And that's just me being picky because it was very good. I picked of the garnish
I will give four stars today because I need to try their dinner menu. I had a beet root late with almond mink and a carrot cake on my first visit. Both delicious. The cake was a bit sweet for my taste. I went in the morning and I could enjoy the silence and the good atmosphere. It’s a nice alternative for coffee in downtown, but it’s pricey.
