Maria's Place

It's a very quiet hold in the wall type place. Worth the trip but don't expect anything like gourmet they really do make home cooked type meals. Went for breakfast and soup a few times and never left unsatisfied!

Maria's place. Unfortunately got a slightly wobbly table with a torn seat but I'm too lazy to change it. As well i picked a table without salt, pepper and sugar. Ordered a coffee and Ukranian feast. I noticed their menu is very diverse in food served with highlights on Ukrainian and Canadian cuisine. All day breakfast is a plus. Fairy priced. Not much for dessert menu. Decor is old. Doesn't look like it gets to busy here. There is lots of space here and with the sun shining through the windows makes it feel cozy here. No Wi-Fi here but they take credit and debit. Service takes a bit of time as I think there is only one person who works here. There is definately a lot of microwave cooking going on i think but so long as it tastes good. Cabbage rolls are small and bland. Love the creamed sourkraut pierogies are not bad. Not sure what The corn meal is but it's bland. Sausage is nothing special. Sweet beets aren't too sweet. Not sure what the rolls with cheese but they are OK. Meal was filling, overall it was ok. Service was good.

Less than 20 bones to feed two full grown adults, amazing quality, well prepared.
