Byron and tannner are great to deal with and bring a great music experience no matter what brings you in.
Excellent customer service. They are very helpful and go out of their way to meet your needs. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
Myhre's Music was honest & fair when recommending a guitar for me. After a few visits I bought an outstanding Martin D-28. A couple of years later I bought a very nice Collings mandolin. Myhre's Music's 'helpful staff were knowledgeable & very patient & answered all of my many questions. Amazingly, I have never felt any pressure at all to buy when visiting their store & have always been treated in a friendly & respectful manner. They truly just wanted me to feel 100% satisfied & happy with whatever guitar and then mandolin I might choose. When I finally did find the guitar and then mandolin of my dreams, they insisted on putting new strings on it & making sure it was properly set-up for me & my playing style. They gave me a fair price for my trade-ins. Owned by the same family (Father & Son) for over 50 years I trust & respect their advice.
Myhre's Music does business the old fashioned way - with honesty & integrity.
Really nice store but even nicer people. Feels good to support someone directly instead of a big chain. Also very nice service from Byron who foremost is a lover of music. Can't say enough about that feeling of customer service and honest salesman ship. Great Edmonton Old school store.
I came in the other day while shopping around to have a look at mandolins. I had been told by a colleague that Myhre’s was the place to go, so of course I was pretty excited. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by friendly, smiling service and an extremely pleasant salesman named Bob Potoniec.
I wasn’t sure whether today was the day or not, since I have been shopping for a mandolin for many years now. After talking to Bob for a while, we slowly whittled down a small selection of my favourite choices. This takes patience on the part of the salesman, as well as knowledge of the instrument. Bob spent quite sometime with me as I picked up one instrument after another and requested he pick up another so we could trade notes back and forth and decide on timbre and quality.
Slowly I realized that today was in fact the day. It was such a pleasant experience dealing with Bob and the general vibe of the store was quite homey and relaxing. I didn’t feel stressed or pressured at any time during our wonderful interaction.
I just want to say thank you to Bob and to Myhre’s music for such an open and friendly environment. I am enjoying my Eastman Mandolin so much. It is beautiful. I am so happy that I waited for the perfect moment to purchase this instrument.
I will recommend to any of my musician friends and colleagues to visit your store.
Thanks again so much for a great experience,
