Arashi-Do Edmonton East

I’ll start this review with the caveat that I don’t actually train at Arashi-Do East. I have however trained under Professor Neil at a different location for quite awhile. He is a very detailed and technical instructor who always took extra time outside of class to help with any questions or concerns I had, or even just to grab a beer with some of the students. He has also welcomed me into this brand new location for open mat several times even though I don’t train there. It’s a beautiful facility with high quality instruction, as well as a great community atmosphere for anyone who is looking for a place to train.

Been training under professor Neil and Arashi do for over 8 years now. He’s a world class Jiu Jitsu black belt and dissects every move better than anyone in the game! If you want legit martial arts instruction under a high level coach , this is the place to be!

Both my kids love coming on Sundays, and we moved out to Spruce Grove, and yet we still come here vs anywhere else.

I love the women's class with Coach Shannon and Coach Tina! It's super inclusive and a great class for beginners! Everyone is super nice and you have a fantastic time and get a great workout. You also learn a lot about both self defense and Sport Jui Jitsu! I absolutely recommend coming and trying out the free trial!
