My daughter has been going going to Kinder Campus for nearly two years now. Our original goal had been to find something a bit closer to home once we moved to the south side (it's a 45 min commute every morning), but that simply isn't an option anymore. The reasons are numerous, but it really boils down to the fact that while many daycares and dayhomes portray themselves as having a family environment, Kinder Campus is the family that we want our family to be.
The staff are not just caring - they are passionate about creating the safest, most nourishing space possible for every child in their care. From private, personalized blog posts about our daughter that are almost mini novels in length to stacks of art projects every month to things like "international mud day" and "Batman day", I firmly believe that no one else would be able to care for my daughter the way that this daycare has - even myself.
I guess I'm writing this review now because when we were looking around for prospective daycares, I must admit that Kinder Campus was not even on my radar. There are many daycares in Edmonton after all, and as I tend to shop for products and services via reviews, I didn't even notice this one. However, my wife had heard great things from two of her friends, and ended up spending half a day at the daycare just observing the staff's interaction with our daughter and the other children. She had done the same vetting process with multiple other daycares by this point, and she immediately knew that Kinder Campus was the one. Now, after having the pleasure of interacting nearly daily with Hanne, Debra, Danielle, Jezelle and all the other great people at Kinder Campus for the past couple of years, I can't imagine trusting my daughter with anyone else. So if any prospective parents happen upon this review, do your child a favor and take the time to personally visit Kinder Campus and compare with the other daycares. You won't regret it!
I feel incredibly lucky to have my child at such a wonderful facility. They made the transition to daycare as painless as possible and the staff are incredible. I wouldn't want my child anywhere else!
