We have been a family at Rio Terrace preschool for two years and I couldn't imagine sending my boys anywhere else, we love Ms Shay and Ms Naoko dearly!. Everyday is a new day of learning through play and we love it!
I have had 4 children who have attended Rio Terrace Preschool, at one time or another since 2008, and have always been very pleased with this wonderful preschool and its dedicated teachers. My children have had great experiences with this preschool and the fun, learn through play environment. As a parent, I like that the program is educational, fun, prepared them for Kindergarten and is affordable. Rio Terrace Preschool has a wide variety of activities, crafts, games and interaction for all levels of interest. I love the proximity to a large playground, and that it is in a good neighborhood. I highly recommend this Preschool to anyone!
Our daughter has gone through the 3 year old program at RTCP and will be starting her 4 yr old experience shortly. The teachers are caring and warm. I appreciate being involved in her first school experience by helping out every so often. The children go outside most days (or run around in the adjacent gym) which is a bit different than some preschools. The amount of extra learning that gets brought in has also impressed me: traveling zoo, yoga teacher, adventure bus, bread lady to name a few! I also am looking forward to the out of school field trips in the 4 year old class! This is a first rate school.
I would highly recommend this preschool as it was an excellent experience, not only for my two sons, but for my entire family.
We began our search for a preschool for my 3 year old in the west end of Edmonton. We were recommended to Rio Terrace Preschool by a family friend and told how fantastic it was. We were not disappointed in the least. From the teachers, to the school to the overall feel, the experience was excellent. My son has completed his first year and is very excited to go back for his second year. We especially enjoyed being able to spend the day in class with him on his “special day”. This was likely more of a treat for me than it was for him. Highly recommend this school to anyone, just get in early as it fills up quick.
