MCE Mosque

One and only Muslim mosque near to University of Alberta, Edmonton Campus.

Great place for worship! Philanthropic and community involvement.

Wish this mosque was more close to the U of A campus!
It would be nice if they start Asr prayer after Asr time starts according to Hanafi rule.
Juma khutbah should be short and in Arabic. A separate English bayan can be arranged before khutbah.
There are some kids keep playing during the khutbah and juma prayer which is unacceptable. Please keep your kids with you so that they can't disturb other muslim when they are praying. I have never seen any khatib addressing this issue .. as if they don't it happens here.

Came in the evening for Mughrib prayer and it was open, clean and peaceful

I lived in Edmonton for four years 1990-1994
And i had the best time of my life.
