IKEA Edmonton

Always fun, super happy they always have lanes and tell you were ti go or for SURE would get lost.. love the short cuts. And they are always willing to help!

On the weekend this is probably a 3 star or less experience. It can be very busy and parking can be very challenging. Unless you happen to drive an electric or low emission vehicle. If so you could get lucky and snag a close space. During the week this is probably a 5 star experience. It's easy to get around the store. Parking is decent. Getting through the food lineup appears to be quicker as well. So I'll split the difference and give this place 4 stars.

IKEA starts as an errand but usually turns into a date. Me and my boyfriend like wandering the rooms and looking at the nice designs. We always get food, and it's nice to only spend like 20$ for lunch for 2 people. We have a bunch of furniture from IKEA and although it is particle board, it holds up pretty well. We have this big blue couch and I love it so much, when we moved I wanted to make sure the new house would fit the couch.

I always enjoy coming here. The food in the cafeteria is of moderate quality and always tastes good, not to mention is fairly priced. Two people could be fully fed and satisfied for $30. Less if you tend to have a small appetite. The location is always well looked after and there's always a staff member nearby to help. There is a large amount of parking space available and the place typically runs quite smoothly.

The only negative I've found is if your in deep shopping and you need a bathroom it's really not that easy to get to the nearest one. Maybe if there were washrooms at the half way mark that would be helpful :) other than that I enjoy walking through and looking at all the show rooms and possibilities. The food is good and I look forward to the trip
