Really nice people and very welcoming!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the service and the friendly welcome. The quality of sound preaching and theology is certainly exceptional here. In keeping with Lutheran historical tradition, the church service is liturgical in nature, with a children's message, sermon, communion and hymns throughout. Sunday School takes place before the service at 9:30am so children have the opportunity to enjoy worshiping God together with their parents in the sanctuary. I noticed there was also a Quiet Room for Babies and nursing mothers who could listen and watch the service from a viewing room if they wished for privacy - definitely a thoughtful idea! There were weekly Pre-Reader & Reader children colouring bulletins available with areas for service notes & interactive drawings to keep wiggly little ones preoccupied during the sermon. I was moved by the transparency and sincerity of both the leaders and the people. Teens to young adults serve coffee with the elderly after and sign up for Sunday Morning Scripture readings. My bulletin read that the church supports local charities and missionary organizations like The Mustard Seed, LAMP, Samaritan's Purse, and Meals on Wheels.
All in all a vibrant little light to the community!
