Haps is the best breakfast place in Edmonton if you ask me. The owner is regularly working the front counter and is a very nice man. Staff are always so nice I'm happy to end up with any server I get here.

That being said the hype about their hollandaise sauce is real. Extra creamy and always consistent. All of their food has been consistent for the 20 years I've been coming here. Change is generally good but there is no point changing a menu that stirs people out of bed early to eat. Coffee is better than smittys or Denny's any day of the week.

Service was great. They gave good attention and effort to minimizing Covid19 spread. However the food was mediocre. Bacon was flavorless, sausage tasted like cardboard. French toast was average tasting, eggs were average, fries were average, toast was good. Food prep seemed good but it is like they forgot to add flavour before the meals left the kitchen. However the BLT supreme was great.

Hap’s is an amazing local breakfast place. It serves large portions for a good price. We always brag about it to our friends. The ambiance is kind of a bit old-style restaurant, but it suits it very much.

I came here after swimming a few months ago and had a huge appetite. I left stuffed! The service is SUPERB.. got there around 8 in the morning and was immediately greeted by a cheerful waitress! Coffee and food came out quick, our food was delicious and portions were massive. Very good value and a real vibrant atmosphere! Gogogo!! You won’t regret!!!
