I should know. So, if you are mad at an insurance company, let the broker know so that they will not mistake you for being mad at them. The brokers do not write the content of the policy. They are there to offer you what the insurance company wants, plus add a premium for their service. Presently, the cap on Auto Insurance has been lifted by the UCP government in Alberta, which is an enabler of corporate greed. Not exactly a friend of the poor. And we are up for a massive increase in our premium. I have been advised that knowing how to deal with insurance companies and their brokers can save you a lot of money. Hundreds of $$$. So, do your research thoroughly before you shop for any insurance, especially automobile insurance.”
