Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Jennifer (can’t remember how she spells her name) took care of me and was excellent. Fast service with a smile. Great chicken!

Not quite up to the standards of what you'd actually find in Louisiana, but it's easily among the best for fast food in Canada.

The brining process leaves the chicken juicy and with flavour - unlike certain other chicken places I won't name. I also don't get the underlying slimy texture I sometimes get at the other guys.

Occasionally they do miss, I have gotten the odd undersized piece, a missed side, or a piece that had been sitting under the lamp a bit too long and started to dry out, but overall it's all pretty good.

Oh, and if you go at dinnertime expect you might have to wait a little to get your food as lineups get a little long.

Delicious chicken that's not overly greasy for a reasonable price! Can easily tell the chicken is never frozen and is actually marinated for a while before cooking and serving. The place looks really good inside as well so that's a bonus
