“I need to take my wife to Carvel and stop at the Carvel General Store. I think it might just be a place of unexpected treasures. Rumour has it they have handmade crib boards, Canada made sweaters, manitobah mukluks and drinking socks whatever a drinking sock is. Apparently a mother and daughter have managed to get along running a business together for 17 years. 17 years is a long time for any business. To survive that long, it would seem to imply owners have taste. This summer the wife will have to stop by and check it out.”

“Mink Lake RV Park and Camping is a great place to camp and you can swim in the lake which is awesome. We were able to take our dogs camping. They all the amenities that a person would need like washrooms, showers and you don't have to pack a whole bunch of clothing as they have washer and dryer. Really reasonable prices per night that you camp. Great staff.”
