Carl is such a hard working, knowledgeable trainer. He really knows his stuff and works your muscles in so many ways. Even ones you didn’t even know you had! You get great results with him. He really listens to what you want to achieve, and puts a plan in place just for you. Plus, he is fun and you can curse at him all you want. It’s needed sometimes! Trust me, he is your guy!
My experience with Athletic EDG has been amazing. My performance in my sports has greatly improved, including my reaction time/quickness, my jump height/explosiveness and overall endurance. After every session I have come away feeling more confident in my abilities in the gym. I didn't know any proper lifting techniques prior to working with Carl and he explained everything in a technical yet simple way to understand. I've been seeing Carl for close to 3 years and it's been a tough yet rewarding relationship. I would recommend Carl to anyone willing to put in the work, from newbies to elite athletes. You won't regret building a relationship with Carl!
It is easy to have confidence is Carl's competence as a trainer. He is a wealth of knowledge and can adapt his expertise to accommodate any fitness level, in any setting, and his demeanor ensures the training environment is safe, productive, and fun. Whether you leave a session completely drained, or don't feel the burn until day two (and three), you will ultimately take pride in what you've accomplished with Carl's guidance, quickly see growth, and feel strong. I have done things in the gym that I never thought I could do, plus have developed in ways that have served me outside of the gym. I have become a better soccer player, can endure tougher hikes and have developed more mindful eating with Carl's influence. Whether you want to powerlift with proper form, want to work on cardiovascular strength, or want to train while dealing with pre-existing injury, Carl will provide unlimited guidance, a comfortable environment, and all the support you need on your fitness and wellness journey.
In the few years that I have trained with Carl, he has helped me achieve my goals both physically and aesthetically. In my first year of competing in powerlifting, I qualified for and lifted at Canadian National Championships. Carl also provided excellent nutritional coaching that allowed me to perform at my best while maintaining an ideal weight for my sport.
Carl is a fantastic trainer! Our workouts change constantly so they’re always fresh and never boring. I’m stronger now at 58 than I ever have been. I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone. 100% worth the time and investment!?
