Don't dine-in....get takeout
A few dine-in cons:
no trays are provided, you are just given your food a paper bag for dine-in!
They should at least provide the tray paper or a larger paper covering for the table for dine-in, to facilitate a safe food handling experience with customer safety in mind when eating finger foods! Like HELLO this is why restaraunt trays with paper were invented/implemented in the first place!!!
Some tables and seats were dirty, they need better upkeep!
Napkins should be placed upright in the bag and not on the very bottom so that the customer can find them easily.
Napkins should also be left in the dine in area for customers.
A few pros:
Staff was friendly, used gloves and face masks. Staff replaced my onion rings that fell on the table due to lack of tray/paper...and their Topsy tourney, capsizing box design...
This was a 5* place before their new operating policies were put into place, but now just 3* for safety, would have been just 1* if the food wasn't so good! Learn from your mistakes and improve, thanks!
2nd time here, had to ask the server lady why her mask wasn't on, she responded "I haven't got around to it". I don't want someone breathing over my food at this time. She did mask up. I was masked up. The other staff had masks on. Food was OK but I think we'll stay away for now. I'm a cancer survivor, dont need to take risks.
I waited and waited for my simple chicken burger last night... I forgot this is Harvey’s.
They do make really good burger fresh for you... not in 2 minutes. Thank you for coming to Sherwood Park. A great addition to the restaurant scene. You did a great job and were so friendly.
Patty's were burnt and had to ask for a fresh one, still burnt. Fries were cold. Had to wait to get fresh ones. With that many staff, you'd think things would be fresh. This is the only Harvey's this had happened to me at.
Edit - Well, they got back to me very quickly, and no less than 3 people dealt with the issue. In the end, they gave me a e-coupon that basically replaced the meal that I wrote about above, and gave me a whole $3 on top of it. Just for the record, I won't use the coupon.
I'll still eat at Harvey's, just not this one.
