Love that they offer a cookie while you wait, although in Spruce Grove we almost always get seated immediately. They also have a very tasty selection of appetizers. The staff is accommodating to our special needs.
We came in around 730 on a Saturday night. As we came in, there was no host to greet us. We stood their and waited for 5 minutes, and a employee who was making some cheese cake told us someone would be with us shortly. Another 5 minutes went by and we just kept eating those cookies in that giant jar. Finally the women dealing with the cheesecake got someone as we were clearly frustrated from waiting so long. Eventually seated, our service was mediocre at best, another 15 minutes went by and no water nothing. Our server finally showed up and served us and we did the entire order in one go incase our server goes missing again. Food was excellent, absolutely no complaints there. Just overall experience was not good. Front end staff have to get it together, seemed overstaffed but no organization from management and is hurting the client experience.
We stopped in for a meal with my son and granddaughters. We only had desert because the cost of it was definitely not priced for the average person. Four desserts only cost $50. It's not a place to take a family if you have kids and a bit of a tight budget. All that said it was very good as well as the staff.
My family has visited this restaurant several times and always had a great experience. Sure, the food is pricey, but it has always justified the occasional visit.
We used Skip the Dishes tonight, and were left fairly disappointed.
My fettuccine alfredo had next to no sauce on it, and the added chicken was borderline burned. That was disappointing, but still edible. My craving was satisfied.
My wife and I both got slices of cheesecake, and that was the most disappointing part.
I got the Oreo cheesecake, and she got the red velvet. With no pictures, no description, and a full 9 dollars apiece, we assumed they were pieces of cheesecake. We were very surprised when both our pieces were half cake (the chocolate cake on the Oreo piece didn't taste particularly great), and both were covered in icing that completely overpowered the cheesecake portion. For $18, we were both fairly disappointed, and will be refraining from ordering cheesecake again from a mobile order, which does mean that the biggest reason to order from here is essentially moot.
What a hidden gem. Great food and those cute little cookies at the door. We had lunch and the clubhouse was Amazing! The cafe chips with the dip are a definite must... so good.
